Went through this a few years ago, mine still remains the same.  I want a picture of a buck with velvet peeling off.  WELL, that ain't gonna happen this time of year.  So for this time of year I have switched gears.
I ahve seen some people with bedded deer.  Found a great place during gun season where there were at least 8 beds in the snow.  Have a cam over that spot now.  Hoping to get at least one good pic of a bedded deer, buck would be icing on the cake.
Also, found a den of some sort.  Hoping it's coyotes, probably porcupines though.  Hoping to get a cam over that spot this weekend.  If it turns out to be coyotes or fox, hope to get pics of pups this spring.
Have found some fisher tracks and actually have seen fisher twice at our place.  Would love to get a pic, but that's so sporadic I don't know whether to hope or not.
Bobcat would be nice, but never expect to see one in northern Armstrong County.

What's yours?

I've always wanted to get pics of some bald and golden eagles, but I've never setup a cam specifically for them. There are dozens of bald eagles on the public land I hunt, so I hope to get pics of one soon. Also, I guess since elk were reintroduced to WV this year, I'd love to get pics of a wild WV bull elk at some point in the future.

Mine would be a coyote den with pups. Of  the two I've found, one was in the summer after the pups had left and the sandy bank it was in collapsed over the winter -- so much for that. The other was so close to a road and house that I wasn't about to leave a camera there. Such is life.

I would love to get a fox den with pups!

A bobcat would be cool but they are really scarce in my area.

I had a fox that moved into a groundhog hole  with 3 pups last summer not 200yds from my front door. I really enjoyed watching them every afternoon but didn't have permission to setup a cam on the neighboring property... would've loved to have gotten pics of the pups playing.

I've got one of a flying squirrel leaping about 9", does that count? (is almost the exact pose as the red squirrel that jumped before it)

Wow great topic. So many wants for me. Years ago I got some grea shots of elk at a wallow. Back then used a P41. Was one of my first big experiences early in homebrew career. I want that opportunity again. With higher mp cameras and slaves and wireless and and and and man that would that be great... 😉

Cougar or a wolf pic would be nice. They are around here just not plentiful. I got this pic this past fall and it's pretty cool. Never thought I'd get one right after he sheds like this.
