So since moved the hummingbird feeder (going to try recommended fix) put the bird feeder back up with the S40/SS2. 1,394 pics. in just over a day! Edited the pics. 4X till down to 21 pics. Some of the better ones.
Oh yeah, decided to put the S40/SS2 back out set on feeder instead of trail. Never used feeder before and here feeder won't turn the board on but does in trail Can't see how just sliding the post could be hard but peiople never said I'm smart.

Nice shots Jon!......and Happy belated B-day. Too many red-winged blackbirds around here for the feeders but, plenty of youngster hummers hanging around. I put the new S40 build that Charles made for me out Sunday and a S600 out Monday to see if the eclipse would have an effect on the hummers or bees (it didn't). It’s funny watching the kids compete with the bees. I've seen adults pick the wings off of bees if they annoy them too much.

Nice pics. Guess it just depends on the locale. Several from the church say they have no bees and others do. May also be the feeder as neighbor had the bees first then they changed from the mini feeders and now don't have as many bees. Different feeders didn't seem to work for me. Going to try it again I think and see if it's better. Am sitting here watching a bird perched right in front of the camera getting a face on picture (make that a dozen pics) right now.
