You've probably heard that Baby It's Cold Outside has been said to cause certain things that people feel are inappropriate then what about:

1. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus: subjecting minors to softcore porn
2. The Christmas Song: Open fire? Pollution. Folks dressed up like Eskimos? Cultural appropriation
3. Holly Jolly Christmas: Kiss her once for me? Unwanted advances
4. White Christmas? Racist
5. Santa Claus is Coming to Town: Sees you when you’re sleeping? Knows when you’re awake? Peeping Tom stalker
6. Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Everyone telling you be of good cheer? Insensitive to depression
7. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: Bullying
8. It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas: Forced gender-specific gifts: dolls for Janice and Jen and boots and pistols (GUNS!) for Barney and Ben
9. Santa Baby: Gold digger, blackmail
10. Frosty the Snowman: Sexist; not a snow woman
11. Do You Hear What I Hear: blatant disregard for the hearing impaired
12. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas: Make the yuletide GAY? Wow, just wow
13. Jingle Bell Rock: Giddy up jingle horse, pick up your feet: animal abuse
14. Mistletoe and Holly: Overeating, folks stealing a kiss or two? How did this song ever see the light of day?
15. Winter Wonderland: Parson Brown demanding they get married…forced partnership
16. I'll Be Home For Christmas: Not if you are homeless. That's just Insensitive
17. Grandma got ran over by a reindeer: Homicide. Extremely violent and promotes alcoholism.”

You have to be careful with what you say these days, don't want to offend someone or hurt their little feelings.

I say to heck with them, if they are that sensitive they should stay at home, locked away from the world, never watch television, never have a conversation with anyone. I mean, COME ON!!! REALLY!!!!  They could not have made it growing up the way most of us did. Think about it. If you tried out for a sports team it wasn't guaranteed that you would get picked to be on the team. So what!!! It just made you try harder the next time. Everyone didn't get to be a winner and it made you realize that things aren't always going to be given to you, you have to earn it. Kids didn't get to move on to the next grade if they didn't pass, they got left behind. Tough luck kid, maybe next year. LOL  Your parents could whip your behind if you misbehaved and no one was going to call the cops to say you were being abused just because you got a little whipping. The cops in my town would have just laughed if they got such as call and would have said, "Well you must have done something to deserve it and I bet you won't do it again."

Sorry for the rant but all this FEEL GOOD and DON'T OFFEND ANYONE crap just makes me sick. And don't even get me started on GLOBAL WARMING!!!  [biggrin]

Agree Ralph. Couple other things that fry my butt...besides a blow torch about waist high...is when having the kids sign their Hunters Education cards most ask if I mean cursive and then say they don't know how. THESE ARE AT LEAST 11 YEAR OLDS!!
Something else my brother just phoned me about and this I don't know if is true but is that some illegal immigrants say they'll go back home if we (USA) pay them $50,000.00!!

Yer I agree Ralph I am glad I am the age l am imagine what it is going to be like in another 30 years? You know this is how crazy it is across the board. I enter mounts into the national taxidermy competition and win first place in open lifesize division. But so they WON'T HURT ALL THE OTHERS FEELINGS they award all of the other competitors a blue ribbon as well. WHAT!!!!!! Then the following year they are mad at me because I don't enter.

That is exactly the type of thing that I was talking about. If the other competitors are so sensitive about not getting a prize if they don't WIN, they shouldn't be entering into the competition. Nobody understands the word COMPETITION anymore. The last I heard it wasn't meant for everyone to be a winner and if you don't WIN, be a good sport about it, congratulate the winner and strive to do better the next time.
