So picked up my S600/AIO combo today.  Batteries were dead, last few pictures were quite a bit of the batteries just dying.  In the middle of the week, prior to batteries dying, there were 10 or so pictures at night where the flash didn't go off.  Could this just be from the batteries dying and not charging the capacitor enough?

I tested this.  The weaker the camera batteries the slkower the flash capacitor charges.  I have seen some cameras take almost a minute to recharge when the batteries are low.

I just picked up a p41 slave combo with 12 batteries, every battery in it was very low & slow, brand new dollar generals weren't worth the time it took me to carry em home.
Cold killed em.

I'm thinking that's what it was Bruce.  These were Tractor Supply Specials.  Going to put it together with some fresh ones and see what happens.
