The L11 is now probably my favorite camera for a homebrew; it has the same lens as the Fuji J10 and a significantly better flash. I think the day photos are as good as the J10's and the night photos are much better. The night photos are a bit better than the S40's but the camera is slower than a fast-hacked S40. Several of my S40s have an occasional night focus problem but I've never had that issue with an L11. Plus the hack is really easy thanks to Charles' video and the L11 uses SD cards and AA batteries.
