I don't know, last time I tried it not one worthwhile picture did I get. I have better places (I think) for a camera -- but maybe I could justify another build just for hummingbirds.

There ya go, just like a true homebrewer.
Seriously some of the cams I was getting over 700 pics. per day, some fasle flashs, some partial shots, some out of focus so of those I might be satisfied with 4-5. I remember checking 3 of them with close to 3000 pics. one time and only keeping maybe that many and not really satisfied either with them.

It's just something to do in the off season for me for fun. Your photos on your blog are....well....supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

I put one out yesterday for the halibut and over 800 pics! I don't want to bore anyone with the same old pics so, I just like being able to get that perfect unusual one. Not very good but, I liked these two.....

I put one on a feeder the other day to see if any babies were visiting yet.

Gosh, those are absolutely beautiful. I decided to put an S40 at the feeder but haven't gotten a hummingbird photo worth saving yet.

Nice! Hummingbirds seem to not be around here now. Cam by bee balm only had 4 pics. of hummingbirds after 4 days and 2 were same hummingbird sitting there. Saw my first one in a week or so last night. They don't even seem to be hitting the bee balm like last year.

I'll tell some to move your way next year Jon. Still filling the feeders every 2-3 days! I should have invested in sugar stock! I've been playing around with making movies again and threw together a hummer one I thought you might like.......

Haven't had the cam out for a few days, was at a hang (and thyought before went my hammock was sorta good...WRONG!, all their's blew mine away). Got back yesterday and hung the hammock out and put the tarp over and took a nap and kept thinking a bumble bee was hanging around but figured since the feeder was at the head of the hammock must be a hummer.
