Checked the set that’s been the most productive of bobcat photos for the last several years after the camera had been in place for a month. When I went down over the ledge it was obvious that the camera was dislodged and aimed straight down the hill rather than along the face of the rock outcrop. Figured that a bear had found the camera and treated it harshly. Unlocked the Python lock and the small lock on the steel security box and checked the photos on the card. There were a couple of a bobcat -

and then two of three peoples’ legs. From the photos it was impossible to tell if they’d seen the camera beneath the ledge. Three days later the camera took several photos as it was being moved, one of those pictures included part of a person’s face. Mystery solved, it wasn’t a bear that moved the camera it was a human.

Fortunately, the Python cable was around a large fallen slab that was jammed against the ledge and was too heavy to move – otherwise the camera probably would be among the missing. Hooray for Python cable locks!

Just hate it that locks only are for honest people. Nice shot on the bobcat. Can only imagine the good shots you would have got later.

Damn people.  This weekend should be the worst of the year in PA too.  Glad it saved you Woody.

Need to train that bobcat to protect your cams.  Nice pic of that bobcat.  Need to figure a way to put a couple 3700 caps in series and charged "protecting" the cam if someone tries to take. Then went the person gets zapped an audio sounds plays. hehe

I'm very surprised the mouth breathing knuckle draggers didn't come back with tools and steal your camera. Why can't people leave stuff alone that isn't theirs? I hope you removed the camera from the area.
