Have the S600/SS2 out today but seems to be anything over 4mp at this close range (under 20") is blurry. Going to try a D380/SS2 (or maybe a Snapshot Sniper) next day or two.

Nice round Jon.  I never even got my cams on the feeders this year.  Birds just now showing up.  Don't know what happened this year.
When I look at the smiles on all the children's faces, I just know they're about to jab me with something.

Great photos Jon, ya done good on that batch. For really close-up shots like those I've found the S40 are the best cameras I have. Although I really like the L11's photos, it just won't focus at close distances like the S40.

Yeah the S600, W50, FH1 and FS5 just won't focus that close. Tried the E90 last year but just won't do it.  If the sun is out bright then every now and then will get some okay to good ones. Going to sometime soon get the D380 out and see how it does, think it'll be just the thing for it.
