There are quite a few here with compromised immune systems.  I hope you are all making it through this.

Praying for all of you on here!

Unless more people, from the top on down, take this as seriously as it deserves it's going to become even more of a disaster than it currently seems. We've given up going to coffee with friends and going to meetings since some others think this is a "hoax" -- those of us who can get out where there are no other people are extremely fortunate.

I certainly agree also....There are still many people who think that we are over-reacting but in reality most are under-reacting.

Ive been taking advantage of the situation.  I still have to work during the day, but with no activities in evenings or weekends, I have been able to get more projects around the house done.  Making lemonade with these lemons.  Hope everyone is hanging in there.

Well beaver season ended today (sucked) so that is one less thing to do alone. Setting 3 cams out for fisher (bought a commercial one to compare) so next season can try for one. Have to finish (okay start) the GoPro cam (Ralph and others are saying "yeah right") so that will keep me busy for a few days...or years. Usually only a few people at a time in the archery shop (it is listed as essential) so keeps me busy for a bit. Finally finished my geocaching for a straight 365 day period challenge plus got Feb. 29 so also have the 366 day challenge. So geocaching had kept me busy for quite awhile (sometimes all day driving and hiking and searching for them). Evenings just re-watch my videos of NCIS Los Angeles (Kensie...hubba hubba) so day goes by quick.
Guess I'm one of the ones who says it is being blown out of proportion but still go by the guidelines so now guess leaning the other way. As a heart patient vulnerable so do guess is better to be safe then sorry.

I won't make up my mind until later whether we over-reacted or not.  Until then I'm over-reacting.  A couple of nice things have actually happened.  We get to sit down to dinner as a family almost nightly now as compared to maybe once or twice a month prior.
I'm VERY glad I do not live in a city.  Have friends in NYC that haven't been out of their apartment in over a month.  I couldn't do that.

Hopefully only a few more weeks and we can get "back" to "the new normal".

I'd like to think that a few more weeks would do it but until 60-80% of the population has had COVID-19, recovered and developed immunity; and everyone who's really susceptible has died; or an immunization has been developed, released and gone into mass production this will continue. You'd best figure this will go on for a year, maybe more.

I've been practicing this self isolation thing for a couple of years now [biggrin].  But seriously I had a nasty bout with pancreatitis in mid Dec and spent Christmas in the hospitial, took a lot of antibiotics and just getting over it now so I'm staying away from everybody. Been working on my S600's and changing some codes on the old AIO boards. Got one cam on my mineral stump for now.
Stay safe friends  [wave]
