I have a old but unused yeti board that won't work.
I connected my s600 fast hack camera to the board and checked the hack by touching the proper terminals to make sure it worked. It did.
I then closed the case and turned the board on. The red light in the HPWA came on and stayed on. No blinks no nothing.
How can i trouble shoot the board?
I have the #4 switch on only.

The Yeti board has a longer delay before it's ready to trigger the camera than the other boards I have. If DIP #4 is on, the red led should light any time motion is detected, turn #4 off and the red led should not go on after the board is done with it's set-up time. Presumably you're using a new battery to power the board and it's always been programmed for a fast hack. If the board's not programmed for a fast hack, you may be out of luck for using it for a fast hack -- I don't think anyone on the forums has the ability to reprogram a Yeti board.

If you need a Yeti manual let me know, I have one as a PDF.

Ditto on what Woody said about dip #4 being on (I didn't trust him so just tried it [smile] ). Also what is written on the back of the chip? I guess I'm assuming it has FS600? Also may be a good idea to see if the wires are being compressed when closing the case, I've had that happen and just had to resolder as it was too tight and pulled a wire loose.
Delay wise on my fast hack S40 led comes on and at (approx.) 35 sec. camera turns on and both turn off at 45 sec. and then another 35 sec. and led flashs 5X.
Oh one other thing, make sure the right solder spots are jumped (ABC or DEF). For the S600 I don't know if they're the same as the S40 (ABC soldered as jumped and DE soldered as jumped). It seemed to be a common thing with the boards not having any jumped, I had 2 of 5 not done.

What is written on the pic ship.  s600 or fs600.  Then you need to make sure the jumpers are right.

I think it is abc ef  they are solder jumpers on the board.  Let me no John if that setting is wrong.  I can`t find my settings anywhere.  You say the red light stays on.  Have you gried turning the board on and walking away for five minutes.  The board needs atleast a minute of no activity to  activate.  So if you are standing infront of the unit it will never arm.

Yes I turned the board on and went to the other room for an hour.
I do not know where the jumper spots are on the board. I hope someone has a picture.

Ken beat me to it, was taking the pic. when he must have posted. These are for the S40 so don't know if the same or not (Charles, all mine have always been D-E but again this is the S40). You probably don't have the green block there, I solder one there so can remove the wires if need to.15.jpg

If leaving the room and the led stays on then you most likely have either a bad pir or a bad regulator.  Dips should not cause it not to go out of setup.
