Here's the latest shot from my raptor cam.  I think this is a younger owl than the one I captured a few weeks back.  Still not the great horned I'm after but I did see him in the area when I went to check the cam.

That is a great shot....The barred owl is a beautiful raptor...and I have a feeling the trap bait caller was involved in that picture.   Good stuff!

You are both right, there was a trap - bait caller used with this setup. They seem to be very effective for this application. The camera used was a Sony S600.
