Good to hear you're still upright and warm. Yeah, it will probably take a while until you're back to the way you felt before this all started. Wishing you all the best.  [thumb]

I just can`t win for nothing.  I got two sore on my feet when I was in Louisiana.  The hospital pretty much ignored them.  When someone did look at them they said to  have someone else look at them.  Well I got back and made a doctors appointment.  It is very serious.  The sore on my big toe is to the bone and if I can`t get the infection under control I could loose my big toe.  I have to wear a special boot on my right foot.   Hard to walk without a big toe.  The other sore on my left foot is really bad to.    They want to put a cast on my left foot to take the weight off of it.  I have to wear a boot on my left foot to take the weight off of it.  This just sucks.[frown][frown][frown]

As you know I have been in the hospital. I have surgery on my big toe this evening. I have a infection on my to that did spread to the bone. They will clean it up and might need to take a piece of bone off. I hope not but o know I will be on 6 weeks of intervenus antibiotics. So there goes my hunting season. This place has terrible wifi but I will update everyone on how the surgery went.

Hope things went well Charles. Our son was on six weeks of IV antibiotics for an infection, that did the trick for him --  it should get rid of your infection.

The infestion got into my toe bone and they had to remove part of my toe bone.  Still in the hospital.  Not sure yet when I can come home.

Okay I am home.  Minus part of my right big toe.  Been sleeping making up for lost sleep in the hospital.  The bed was like sleeping on rocks.  Slept very little and ot very happy with the hospital.  The good part is they put me on pills for the antibiotic.  They were talking 6 weeks on iv antibiotics.   Sorry everyone for not being here much.

Charles, it's great to hear you are home! IV Antibiotics is very disruptive to ones life at least with the pills you can stay in your home and aren't always running back to a hospital or care facility . All the best on your recovery and getting back out there with your cameras.

Fustrating.  I have been eating much more healthy foods.  Been watching my salt and sugar better than any other time.   I am falling apart.  Need to loose more weight.

Buddy was told he had to lose weight, was borderline on something. His wife made him for the last few months quit drinking pop, less beer, eating gluten free bread and some type of specific wheat bread that was better then reg. wheat bread (don't ask me what one) plus plenty of veggies. He was at the doctors a few days ago and has lost 16 pounds.
Keep at it.

That would get me depressed too Charles.  But at this point ya gotta start looking forward.  Keep at the weight loss, follow the Dr's orders and let's get you back out there for next season!
