Where's all the new threads?
Don't tell Bruce that in the next couple days going to put on a new string and scope (from my Parker [smile] ) on the Excalibur (so will it be called a Parkailbur?) and get it ready as a BACK UP bow. Still using my Parker Bruce. Going to sight in the new scope today.

Have fun! I put the string on my matrix the other day and will take a few shots this week end. Deer opener on the first. Picked up a Ozonics200 and curious to try it out.

Pffft, thought you could sneak by me Jon, You silly boy!

I manged to pick up a Excal Phoenix back in July, I've been playin with that quite a bit. Had a Brushfield red dot on it, didn't care for that so I put a Leupold 2x7 with duplex crosshair
on her added a custom flemish rhino string. Shes a sweet shooting bow. Nuttin fancy but I like her  [biggrin]

Now I suppose I gotta get my Exocet 200 out and show her some love or she'll get cranky an throw a fit.
I just gotta remember she ain't wearin a Excal trigger with all that extra creep built in...
So I suppose I'll be using a Excalibur for a huntin bow and back up bow this year  [tongue]

Figure I won't even begin hunting till towards the middle of the month (don't even have a single ladderstand or ground blind out) so offered a friend my Challenger to use. He has 2 sons he's taking out and the one is just legal age and broke his arm and is just starting to shoot again and is up to 20# I think. Told Josh he could have his son use it as max. range he can shoot out of his blind is 15 yards so should be good for him (uses shooting sticks too so will help him too). Figure if decide to go out before they return it then could try Dads Excalibur. Have it dead on at 15 yards but can watch the arrow lob in there at 35 yards. Is okay though, feel better if Josh's son can get out (he was real excited knowing he could hunt this year then bummed out breaking his arm).
Oh btw the Parker is dead on at 15 and at 45 is maybe an inch low. [tongue]

That's very nice of you Jon!

Can't remember which model excal your dad has but I have a extra set of carved tip limbs & dacron strings for em, if you happen to need em or know someone that does.
