I was hacking a p32 and it would not power on after the hack.  so I charged the batteries and still no worky.  I pressed on the battery door and it came on.  Well I checked the battery compartment and there was some corrosion.  Cleaned the corrosion off and put the camera together.  No worky again.  It didn`t power on at all this time.  Confused I took the batteries out.  There was a spot where the plastic wrap on the battery was lumped a little.  So I took my knife and cut it off and then I noticed that there was a coating of goop on one side of the battery.  Cleaned it off and the hack works great.  Just never know.

I would have to blame it on something because I got lucky because I could not see the dried goop.
