Just finished this build... my first one without 3d camo. This was a budget build, using an $11 pelican 1040 case from the Amazon warehouse, $20 "broken" p41 I got from Don (easy fix, just re-hacked it and fixed a broken battery door latch), and a cheap used Snapshot Sniper board. I think I've got just a little over $50 in this one, so I won't be afraid leaving it on my public spots in Ohio that get lots of foot traffic. Not my neatest wiring or prettiest build, but should work nicely.

Nothing wrong with that one. Inexpensive is good.

Nice job!  How do you like those amazon batteries?  I almost bought some.

Here are a couple pics from the yard. Had a single doe stop by, and of course my nosy Jack Russell had to check things out. Pic quality is the same as my other P41's, nice and crisp, should work nicely for my purposes.

I don't really use a lot of 9 volts, so I can't compare to many other brands. They seem to last as long as a duracell at a fraction of the price.

That's a pretty sweet build. P41's are one of my favorite cams, add a slave and they are really hard to beat for speed and picture quality.
