just wondering if someone took a Vari-zone off his crossbow, what would he be putting on to replace it? I'm just curious as to what is out there for crossbows. Have shot my Matrix a couple of times and not sure that I like the Tact-Zone. Have contemplated trying my Lumi Zone on it and turning the speed dial up to 350

Hmmm, good question. I just took my Vari-zone off my Excal Exocet 200 and replaced it with a Leupold Crossbones 2-7x33mm. Have only got a couple dozen shot with it so far. Really like it, clear and bright optics. Has a Crossbones Ballistic Reticle's aim point's out to 60 yds, speed adjustable selector ring from 250 to 425 fps, weigh's in at 10 oz,  lifetime guarantee regardless of original ownership and made in the USA!

Have read some good things about the Redfield Revenge Accu-Ranger 2-7x34 Crossbow Scope, has range finding reticle with aim points out to 60yds, made in the Philippines with Redfield's lifetime warranty.

Lotta guys like the Hawke scopes, especially the XB30, all though biggest thing with em they seem to be heavy, some say it's the mount? Made in China.

thanks for the answer. I was wondering what you replaced the Vari Zone with. Probably would have bought it if I wasn't across the border. I've got an old Wolverine I would have put it on. Some of the new scopes now are too busy when you look through them, Lines and dots all over the thing. I kinda like to look through and see a crosshair and a couple of dots below it. Doubtful that I would shoot past 40 but I guess you never know.

Have seen some guy's replacing the Vari zone with a Nikon bolt, or a shotgun scope. Seems a lotta times with a single crosshair they like to sight em in 25 yds, puts them a touch high at 20 an a touch low at 30, but still in the kill zone.

Would'nt mind having a Wolverine for some reason, great crossbow.
