Yep, name only, no machine tools or extra inventory. Then they'd have had to do repair work I think. Dave bought alot of their stock parts from the liquidators and you wouldn't believe the guys calling from all over the country (guess could say world as Canucks have called too) for parts. Seems the suthun guys really liked the Hortons as most of the calls are from down Mississippi way. He had a guy call up last week and was going to come out and get a part and then he asked Dave where he was located and Dave said by Erie. Guy asked where's that? Dave said where are you calling from. Washington state. Told him it might be too far to drive. [rofl] Just had a guy bring a Horton up from Pittsburgh (over 100 miles away) for a string for both the crossbow AND an old Bear Whitetail compound!

Bruce, if ever get the chance shoot a reverse limb. They are quiet and fast. Most all the problems were with guys not making sure the bolt was all the way back. But when they go they go big! Usually $200.00+ for parts as if the string blows it bends the cams and sometimes breaks the limbs.

Oh Bruce, don't take this as gospel but look at the guy holding a crossbow on the Mission or Mathews booklet. Guess was told he's an R&D (or something) man for them....and he was too for Horton![eek]

Couple more hours Bruce. Dave got home late last evening so going over later and will see if allowed to tell.
String looks nice Bruce. I've only done 2 color endless loop ones. Only flemish have tried was practice fo a recurve and the length couldn't get right but only tried it once. Usually use Dyna 97 as that's what most call for, 452X is too harsh for them. Dave uses .30 for center serving I believe.
