I'd been thinking about removing mine for awhile but that's about it. Seemed like a good time to try it.
If you can find the tapered washers, (bezels) the limb bolts are the same, the hold down clamps are 10-32 X 1". Takes around 6 oz off the front end, no real difference in sound according to my old ears  [thumb]

Need to remember to turn your hearing aides on. [biggrin]

No hearing aids, Yet!
Nothing short of a miracle, used to work around tungsten Ore grinders an compressors the size of buses, not to mention Mrs yammering sweet things in my ear for 35 yrs [biggrin] [biggrin] [biggrin]

My Excal is wearing a Leupold crossbones, seriously doubt I'll be replacing it  [confused]
