Bowtech bought out Excalibur. Don't know what the ramifications will be. Sorry guys.

Sad news indeed. Time will tell. I've shot Excalibur for close to 30 years and even my old Wolverine is still under warranty. Excalibur always had the best customer service going. I haven't heard too much good about bowteck customer service. Time will tell....

I think bowtech & excalibur both got bought out by an investment firm? My opinion, not good. [frown]
I've been thinking about actually purchasing a xbow this year. Nice to have in the shooting arsenal. Who knows what's going to happen with this buyout?

I just paid a visit to the Excal forum and the Bowtech thread is getting quite long and heated. It's the Fan Boy's club VS the Sky is Falling group, the Fan boys are trotting out Bill & Kathy Troubridge and their history, the Sky is Falling group is throwing out Bowtechs history.

If I had a crystal ball, I'd look for very small changes over the next couple of years. Bill and Kathy sold the company a few yrs ago an retained some ownership, now who knows. Money talks!  Somebody stole the batteries outta my crystal ball, it's cracked anyway!
